I'm aware of the impact that I have on the environment and the wider community and I want to do something about it.

1. I'll make a list of my activities that I think create an impact on the environment - in particular the use of carbon
    
2. I'll then decide upon targets and actions that will help reduce my environmental impact, and I'll record them so I can check my progress
    
3. I'll try my best to seek out and engage people and organizations who are committed to the same ideals
    
4. I'll ensure that all the people I know, family, friends, work colleagues, are aware of the commitments I've made and I'll encourage them to do the same
    
5. I'll share my experience and expertise in assisting others along the path of improved environmental performance and community responsibility
    
6. I'll keep working towards continuous improvements in my environmental performance
    
7. And finally, I'll continue to actively question and explore new ways to ecologically balance my life
